Microchipping a Dog

A microchip is a tiny identifying computer chip that is inserted just under your pet’s skin. When scanned, the little chip gives a number, which is unique for your pet. If your pet is lost, the shelters or veterinary hospitals can access the information on a national database to help contact you.

At Westbridge Veterinary Hospital, we use microchips from 24PetWatch. For more information, or to register your pet’s microchip that was placed at our hospital, please visit 24PetWatch.

How much does it cost to microchip a dog?

For pricing, please contact the hospital at 905.285.0002 and we will be happy to provide you with a quote.
