Pet Microchip at Animal Hospital

A microchip is a tiny identifying computer chip that is inserted just under your pet’s skin. When scanned, the little chip gives a number, which is unique for your pet. If your pet is lost, the shelters or veterinary hospitals can access the information on a national data base to help contact you.

At Westbridge, we use microchips from 24PetWatch. For more information, or to register your pets microchip that was placed at our hospital, please visit www.24petwatch.com.

We strongly encourage all pets to be micro chipped to increase their chances of finding their way back to their owners. This microchip also reduces costs to you when licensing your pet. The procedure can be done at any time, during a routine office visit, or while here for another reason.
