Physical Examination and Vaccines

A physical examination is important, at least once a year. We check your pet from the tip of their nose to the end of their tail, looking for things that may cause future problems. We may suggest a simple blood test to check for underlying kidney or liver problems for example. We also recommend yearly urinalysis and fecal. We tailor recommendations to your own pet’s age and lifestyle.

Vaccines are important to prevent real and serious diseases that are prevalent in this area. Some diseases can be passed on to people. Based on recent studies, vaccines do not have to be given every year. Therefore, we will make recommendations for your pet that are based on who they are, where they go, and what they do.
